Charles Church

Charles Church is an internationally renowned painter of horses, landscapes and country life.

His career has grown from a fifteen year old who loved painting horses into one of the most sought after equestrian painters worldwide.

Within the racing sphere Charles has painted more than 80 individual Group 1 winners including recent champions Masar, Enable and Golden Horn.

The Prince of Wales has described Charles as a remarkable artist, with a "unique sensitivity and profound understanding of his subject matter."

Meanwhile Henry Wyndham, former Chairman of Sotheby's Europe, wrote in 2013 "the pictures of this talented artist carry many of the hallmarks of some of the most renowned British painters of the early 20th century." Charles' skills were developed from an early age and honed in his early 20s during a two-year apprenticeship in Florence where he learnt techniques dating back to the 17th century.

His pictures are highly coveted and much sought after the globe over. On the occasions Charles has exhibited, his critically acclaimed shows have sold out well in advance.
